Marsha Moyo is back from Dubai, where she was contracted to perform for three months are the world’s only 7-star hotel, Burj-al-Arab.

The first recording artist contracted to the hotel and only singer in the hotel, availed Marsha the opportunity to promote her debut CD, Dark Child. During her stint there, which was during the hotel’s peak period, from November to March, guests included Saudi Arabian and Moroccan royalty, Sir Paul McCartney, Man Utd team, Zinedine Zidane, Tiger Woods, Serena Williams and Hanan Ashawari.

The luxurious hotel has rooms at a minimum cost of US$ 1,000 per night, up to US$ 8,000 and has houseguests that include Queen Elizabeth II and the Sultan of Brunei. The release of The Dark Child continues to take Marsha to higher heights with her three music nominations last year for the SAMA (South African Music Award for Best African Artist), the KORA All-Africa Music Awards for best female artists of Southern Africa and the Revelation Of The Year. It also gave her to opportunity to record the beginning of her second album in Paris later this year.
