Spirit of the Land – african spring

the  w_i_d_e  view of zambia’s stunning wild landscape

Remote and unknown Zambia - don’t miss this one!

This african spring Exhibition is set for 2 - 12 November at Alliance Français, Lusaka.

The exhibition follows on from the success of the 2004 debut exhibition of nature photographer Stephen Robinson’s 'Spirit of the Land’ Zambian panoramic landscapes project.

This year’s event will feature all new work from some of the most remote and unknown corners of Zambia – as well as a different view of some better-known areas.  The theme is: african spring – the elements of Zambia’s long dry season.

Last year’s debut of this landscape project met with an overwhelming response: over 1000 people visited the exhibit in Lusaka and Livingstone, with high demand for the limited edition, fine art prints of the photographs.

Since then, the initial project work has been exhibited at another one-man show and in collective exhibitions and galleries, with similar response and demand.

Like last year, the exhibition is supported and hosted by the Alliance Français and the Cooperation and Cultural Service of the French Government and its Embassy in Lusaka.

If you want to see how wild and stunning some of the remote, unknown parts of Zambia are, without the hardships of getting there, this one’s definitely for you.

Likewise, if you want to see a very different view of the Zambia you thought you knew.

Not to be missed !
