Zambian Airways To Jo’burg
Low cost flights to Johannesburg with Zambian Airways will begin on
10 March and I understand that already they are booked for a month
after the launch date. And not a moment too soon – time to get some
competition into air travel on this route. Fares start at K 330,000
and from my past experience on Zambian Airways, on regional and
domestic routes, the service will be excellent. Flights are to be
operated in conjunction with kulula.com in South Africa, but fully
managed by Zambian Airways.
Flights will operate daily except Tuesdays and Saturdays, departing
from Lusaka at 11.30 am and from Johannesburg at 8.30 am, with a two
hour flight duration. An MD82 aircraft will fly the route with a
capacity of 150 seats.
Zambian Airways also will be introducing a Johannesburg weekly prize
draw competition. Anyone who has made a fully paid up booking to
Johannesburg at the office will automatically be entered into the
prize draw, and stands the chance to win a free return ticket to
Johannesburg, valid for 3 months.

on 01-271177 or 095/096/097 ZAMAIR at any Zambian Airways office or
through selected travel agents.
