Black Lechwe Not Extinct

Black Lechwe Magazine, the official publication of the Wildlife and Environmental Conservation Society of Zambia, is about to be revived. The Wildlife and Environmental Conservation Society of Zambia is the oldest NGO involved in environmental education and other environmental issues.

The Lusaka Branch of the WECZS is in the process of re-launching this magazine and are asking anyone who is interested in environmental issues, either from a personal perspective or in a professional capacity, to submit articles to them for publication. They can be sent  by email to wecsz (at)zamnet.zm, by post to P O Box 30255, Lusaka, or can be dropped at their National Office in Longacres, behind Zambia National Tender Board (ex Red Cross Building).

WECSZ runs the Chongololo and Conservation Club programme in schools and also on the radio (Chongololo Club of the Air), as well as producing the Warthog column in the Sunday Times of Zambia. They have branches in different parts of the Country and run a selection of Camps in the National Parks.

For information on membership they can be contacted as above.
