"Well, so much for that.............remember the comments I made in the last Lowdown re our wonderful new Zamtel Internet 24 hours access a day blah blah?   Well we are now into day 4 of OFFLINE Internet 24 hours non-access a day!     Great fun while it lasted and this may be teething troubles but we had all got used to being a bit smug about which web site we'd visited and even planning who we were going to speak to with our Skypes!   Rumour has it that the Choma computer is the culprit, c'mon now, who of you satellite owners sabotaged it!

Big thanks are due to Choma Garage who have painted the entire exterior of our Choma Hospital.   A mammoth job very well done and makes such a big difference.   Choma Garage are also interested in building a walkway from the Mortuary to the main hospital building but have asked for contributions to the scheme.  Anyone interested and who has a bit of spare cash, please talk to Yatin in the Hardware section.

Mosquito Nets:  Tors Coventry in Lusaka has a got a production line in tailor made mosquito nets, you know those lovely big "four poster" walk-in kind.  Also tailor made linen..... her blurb looks and sounds wonderful and If anyone is interested I can forward her contact details and a picture or two of samples she is selling.

Have you ever looked in wonder and amusement at some of the incredibly imaginative signs of shops, taverns, saloons around us...... well, Steve Robinson has produced some excellent posters of same and again I can forward you details.   Would make a wonderful present for someone's bar.
