A Brush With Extinction
Each year, the
David
Shepherd Wildlife Foundation runs a competition for school children
and also holds an exhibition in Lusaka where their work is on show.
The work of the winners is then sent to London where it is judged
against entries from around the world and this work is exhibited at
the Natural History Museum in London. They are judged again by David
Shepherd from 1st to 4th place within each
country, and this year, one of our Zambian students, Elsa Chalcraft,
won runner up when judged against all the work from all
participating countries in all age groups! The competition theme
this year was A brush with extinction
